I got a present from a colleague. (Taken with instagram)
The first roll of film on the new-to-me Yashica Mat 124g was pretty much duff shots anyway. It took me twelve frames to work out the shutter was firing! Nevertheless, I thought I’d develop the roll anyway - for practice if anything as I’d never rolled 120 on to a plastic Paterson reel. Lucky I did practice, because I well and truly screwed it up. I managed to get the film on the reel not a bother, but for some reason (possibly beer related) I decided to poor the jug of water in first, not the developer. In retrospect I should have just carried on, pouring out the water and adding the developer. You never know what might have happened. I’ll definitely never know as I didn’t bother carrying on, just poured the lot down the drain and came downstairs. No biggy, nothing lost apart from a load of developer. 120 film uses lots of developer!
