If this works how I think it should, all players would have an iPhone or something in the gun.  All guns would know where they were pointing thanks to accelerometer, compass and gyroscopes.  If all devices were linked up over radio such as bluetooth or wifi, then players would know when they’ve been hit and shut down the gun.  Very cool.

Wide awake mucking around with social media toys.
For a few weeks I’ve been sharing out my starred items on Google Reader automatically to Twitter via Buffer using ifttt to tie it all together. Most of these are items I read between 7.20 and 8.20 on the train. I think I’ll take that further and create a nightly post from stuff I’ve seen through the day too. Or should I just post when I see something I like? More playing...

Bad scaphoid!
So it looks like Yvonne has done more than sprain her wrist, and has in fact fractured her scaphoid. It’s the type of fracture that doesn’t readily show up on x-rays, but from what she’s describing, the docs think she has indeed fractured it. We’ll be back in on Friday for another x-ray to find out more. If it is fractured, it will be in plaster for the next 6 weeks....
